Join us at the RCUK Guidelines 2025 Conference for a live HemaShock demo
We are excited to confirm that Pentland Medical will be exhibiting at the RCUK Guidelines 2025 Conference at The ICC in Birmingham on 24 to 25 November 2025.
If you are attending, come and see us in the exhibition hall to get hands on with HemaShock and talk through how it could support your teams in the most challenging emergency scenarios.
What is HemaShock
HemaShock is an auto transfusion emergency tourniquet designed for patients in severe shock or circulatory arrest. It works by pushing the patient’s own blood from the legs into the central circulation, while blocking blood from flowing back into the limb.
The result is an increase in venous return to the heart and an increase in systolic and diastolic blood pressure, giving vital organs a better chance of being perfused when every second counts.
HemaShock is
- Fast to apply in around thirty seconds by a single responder, including during transport
• Compact and easy to store on vehicles or in emergency bags
• Simple to learn with minimal training and clear visual cues for safe use
Why visit our stand
At the conference you will be able to
- Get a full hands on demonstration of HemaShock on a training limb
• Walk through real world use cases with our team, from pre hospital care to emergency departments and theatres
• Ask practical questions about training, protocols and implementation in your service
• Take away supporting materials to share with colleagues back at base
We know guidelines and evidence are evolving rapidly, and many teams are actively reviewing their approach to managing emergency situations. The conference is the perfect moment to see how HemaShock can sit alongside your existing pathways and equipment, rather than replace what already works for you.
